Indicative Content:
Students will develop professional digital comic lettering techniques using Adobe Illustrator, including dialogue balloon construction, text hierarchy, font choice, readability, sound effects and integrating lettering cleanly with comic artwork.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the classes, students will have produced a fully lettered comic page in Adobe Illustrator and will understand industry-standard lettering workflows, proper balloon and caption design, sound effects. lettering basics, and how to prepare lettering files for print and digital publication
